6 Blue Bridge Apt. & Our First Day in York

This is a wonderful first floor apartment, which means we only had to carry everything up on narrow flight of stairs.  It also came with a parking space right outside the gate of the apartment and since everything is within easy walking distance it is perfect.

The kitchen has everything you need.

The bedrooms are nicely decorated and have storage. 

With a little reminder of home

The hall bathroom is very spacious.

The ensuite is small but nice.

We headed out to find something to eat.  The place by the apartment Roger wanted to eat didn't open until 4 so we headed into the old town.  Sparks was a little hipper than we are.  Luckily we picked the Greek Street Food  restaurant because we were able to place our order and pay right there.  Roger wanted to get a beer at another vendor and was told that he needed to order it from the table using the app.  When he went to use it there was a minimum charge plus a 4 GBP delivery fee.

Lots of vegan options were available.

There was a wonderful breeze blowing through so it was really nice.

The meal was good and it was the first place that had Tzatziki sauce.  

Now that our tummy's were full it was time to start exploring.

We walked through the Shambles.

I wonder where the York Minster is?

I thought this was a very cute ice-cream truck.

I don't think we will have enough time in York to really see everything.
