Bothal Castle, Newbiggin-by-the-Sea, Costco & Newcastle Castle

Today we ventured to Bothal Castle.

The few homes that were by it are very charming.

The church yard was very picturesque.

The only way you would find me here after dark would be if I was buried here.

Roger admiring the Sequoia tree.

We came to see the castle but then we realized it might be a private home.

So we just wanted a little peek.

I think she just wanted proof that I was there with her but you could barely get a glimps.

The stepping stones to cross the river were not only fun to walk on but it was so peaceful to stand in the middle.

The field looks even more beautiful with the horses.

I could totally live here.

As we were leaving the little village we got to see the other side of the castle.  Can you imagine living here?

We headed to Newbiggin-by-the sea and walked along the promenade.

We watched the tractors pull boats out and launch them.

It surprises me that they don't get stuck.

HEAR THE SEA... TOUCH THE SAND...SMELL THE SEA...ENJOY YOUR DAY

Someone was getting married today.

We walked around and checked out the tidepools.

We needed some gas so we drove twenty minutes out of our way so we could visit another Costco.

Newcastle upon Tyne is a college town.

With a wonderful old town.

Moot Hall is a courthouse.

The Newcastle Castle was built between 1168 to 1178
