Cawdor Castle, Elgin Cathedral & Glenfiddich Distillary
Roger backed his way in just so he could make sure he could get out.
It was a tight squeeze.
I may have gotten a little too excited when I saw the bell pull, imagining the scene from Downton Abbey.
Up to the families private quarters?
Built the castle around the tree.
They put the updated kitchen in much more recently.
I want these three servers.
Can't complain about not having the proper size copper pot.
I would like to know what this is used for and how you use it.
He is keeping an eye on the bikes.
Can't complain about the comfort of modern day bikes compared to this seat.
Time to explore the gardens.
There are so many cute places to sit and admire the gardens.
I was a little disappointed that we could not go in the maze.
I think these Blue Eryngo are very interesting I am going to try to find some when I get home.
The ball is made out of glass and the post is made of slate.
Bird and squirrel feeder
Millionaire shortbread and tea. I will be making these when I get home they are delicious.
We are so glad that we stopped here. It was an absolute pleasure to tour the castle and the grounds.
As we were traveling to our next destination we just happened to notice Elgin Cathedral ruin and had to stop.
We were able to walk around the outside of the grounds and see in.
The ruins are still so beautiful and amazing to see.
Just so happened the Glennfiddich Distillary was on our way too.
Roger had to fill out the contact and trace info before going on the grounds of the distillary.
The grounds were worth the visit.
