Culloden, Clava Cairns, Loch Ness & Glenmorangie
I did have to pay my respects to the Frasers
I noticed a change in front of the Fraser marker. I think they are trying to get the grass to grow back and have now made a walkway to the marker.
The Jacobite Line
Roger waiting for us to come back.
My spirit animal. I love Highland Coos but they do seem more magical in Scotland than when I see them in the dry grass at home.
Due to Covid you could not go in the home.
Back to the one lane roads that are for two way traffic.
Since the Clava Cairns are so close we made a quick stop.
The Nairn viaduct is a railway viaduct on the Highland Main Line.
A peek at Loch Ness.
Time for tea.
Ben had to try the Haggis Burger. It might have been better with some condiments and veggies.
A flower version of the Urquhart Castle.
We decided that it wasn't worth paying to go into the castle when we could get a birds eye view from the road.
So then we drove an hour to the Glenmorangie Distillery for Roger to buy a glass.
I just love the cloud view out the bay window of our apartment.
