York Wall & Tea at Betty's

Fishergate entrance to the wall was closest to our apartment so we started here.

I have admired this building every time I walked by.

These pigeons new if they just stood under Roger they could get filled up on his dropped crumbs.

Admiring the Cathedral and gardens on the other side of the Minster.

If my gardener mowed my lawn like this he would be fired.

Bronze map of York.

I got a chuckle out of the fountain prank in front of the York Museum.

We got back on the wall just across from the Museum.

I should feel guilty peeking in someones backyard but I think they are beautiful.

After walking half of the wall we are ready for breakfast.
They brought me the little white chocolate mouse that was supposed to be on my pancake a little later.

The pancakes were good but not as good as the ones we had in Amsterdam.

After breakfast we headed back to the museum.  I could relate to this photo.

I really can't recommend this museum.  I am glad it was free.

I hope this brace hold up.

I had made reservations for tea at Betty's before we arrived.

Charleen and I got our own individual three tier server the guys had to share theirs.  It was nice but the tea we had in Dingle was even nicer.

After tea we went for our last walk around York.

The river Ouse.

Eating in a plastic bubble.

This part of the wall made me a little nervous since it had no rail on the side.

Reached the end of the wall.

Good bye York I hope to come back someday.
